Join is for the 24th Annual Festival Bike Tour! A 42 mile casual ride (52 miles with an optional “Loop to Lupus”) through the rolling hills of Cooper and Moniteau Counties. The ride begins at historic Thespian Hall (522 Main Street), from there you will head out on the 42 mile “Wooldridge Route” (Hwy 87 & 179). Route is clearly marked and maps are given at registration. Once you arrive in Prairie Home (2nd rest stop) you can roll into Wooldridge or take the optional “Loop to Lupus” (Lupus is a small community right on the Missouri River). The “Loop to Lupus” adds a very challenging and hilly 10 miles to the original 42-mile route. This ride takes you through some of the most scenic areas in Missouri with decent road surfaces and relatively little traffic.
For those who may be riding for the 1st time the Festival ride is held in conjunction with the Missouri River Festival of the Arts (view more) and is sponsored by the Friends of Historic Boonville. All proceeds goes toward supporting future Festivals. A 20% discount is given on Missouri River Festival of the Arts tickets.
